The design refers to the oldest document of Etruscan writing found so far, the ivory tablet “Marsiliana” (Maremma, Tuscany) of VII to VIII century BC. It contains the Etruscan alphabet, which was written from right to left. This Tuscan story inspired us to create the design for the COLORI line.

Harvest by hand. Selection of berries on the vibrating table, from vintage 2020 with optical selection machine. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in steel tank followed by malolactic fermentation in French barrique in second occupancy. The 24-month aging takes place in barrique. We then carry out bottling (without filtering).

Tasting note

A clear and dense ruby red with garnet highlights. The bouquet is characterized by intense notes of blackberries, blueberries and ripe plums. With a touch of chocolate and coffee, it accompanies the connoisseur buoyantly. But in this wine you can also find an elegant hint of licorice. The minerality is well structured and pleasantly warm. The tannins are ripe yet fresh, leading to optimal persistence with a beautifully lively finish.
