The design refers to the oldest document of Etruscan writing found so far, the ivory tablet “Marsiliana” (Maremma, Tuscany) of VII to VIII century BC. It contains the Etruscan alphabet, which was written from right to left. This Tuscan story inspired us to create the design for the COLORI line.
Vinification
Harvest by hand. Selection of berries with optical selection machine. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in steel tank followed by malolactic fermentation in French barrique in second occupancy. The 12-month aging takes place in barrique. Then we carry out bottling without filtering.
Tasting note
A dark ruby red with brilliant reflections. The bouquet presents elegance with seductive aromas of wild berries, fruity blueberries and currants. On the palate, in addition to the fruity freshness, this wine shows a slightly spicy note with a polished finish. The fine balanced tannins support the wine in its structured finish.
