As a special sign, you will find on the bottle of our SOPRA SYRAH a small sign that alludes to the city emblem of Shiraz (Iran) and the history of origin of the grape variety Syrah.
Vinification
Harvest by hand. Selection of berries on the vibrating table, from vintage 2020 with optical selection machine. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in steel tank followed by malolactic fermentation in French barrique in first occupancy. The 24-month aging takes place in barrique. We then carry out bottling (without filtering).
Tasting note
The color is an intense ruby red, not very dark. The bouquet is varietal with notes of ripe plums, summer flowers and black pepper. On the palate, the sweet ripeness of the fruit caresses the center of the mouth and finds the energy and momentum for a fresh finish, with tight tannins and a pleasant, slightly mineral character. A Syrah that, despite its young age, reflects both the variety and the terroir.
